An Expert Witness Jesus is acting as an expert witness (v.14) If Jesus was only human, then the rabbinic

maxim would be correct In terms of knowing God, only God can

Application We must not trust our own judgment in

spiritual matters (Proverbs 3:5, 6).

We should trust the word of Jesus Christ implicitly (2 Corinthians 10:5).

If the word of Jesus Christ is true, then we should receive Him as Savior and follow Him as Lord!
