A stance with strength

The Honda HR-V has dynamic styling, sophisticated looks and attitude, which, combined with its defined, sleek upper body, makes this an advanced and attractive SUV. However, the strong, sculptural lines evoke a sense of sports car as well as SUV, making it the perfect partner to any kind of driver.

But the SUV side of it that makes it what it is: your essential adventure partner. To ensure you can take full advantage of a wide visibility range, the seats are positioned high in the vehicle. Ultimate traveller essentials like the front fog lights, 17'' alloy wheels, shark fin antenna and tailgate spoiler command the attention the HR-V deserves.

LED indicators are placed in the door mirrors, while highly attractive LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs), LED auto-adjust headlights, and LED tail lights look sophisticated and emit a glow reminiscent of some future time. TALL MODE

We all have those days when we need a little height to get that last thing in. Whether it’s a trip to the nursery or a full on hardware shopping spree you can take full advantage of the distance between floor and ceiling by flipping up the rear seats.

LONG MODE

The things you need on an expedition won’t always be the right shape, but if you flip down all the seats on one side and you’ll be able to create a long space perfect for awkward items like surfboards or long planks.

UTILITY MODE

If there’s one thing you always need on an adventure, its space. Just use the lie-flat rear seats in the HR-V and you can take absolutely everything you need with you. A stack of camping equipment is no problem for this SUV.

7-8 Connect

The HR-V comes standard with ABS for superior stopping power. When emergency braking is detected Brake Assist applies maximum braking pressure whilst EBD monitors and adjusts the brake force on each wheel.

ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM (ABS) AND ELECTRONIC BRAKE FORCE DISTRIBUTION (EBD)

Occasionally a situation requires sudden, heavy braking. The HR-V automatically flashes its hazard lights to alert those behind you when you stop suddenly.

EMERGENCY STOP SIGNAL (ESS)

A brilliantly innovative body structure means that the impact from frontal collisions is directed away from the passenger compartment.

ADVANCED COMPATIBILITY ENGINEERING (ACE)

The manual handbrake has been replaced with an easily activated parking brake switch.

The clever Honda i-SRS driver airbag system inflates at different rates depending on the severity of the impact, seatbelt usage, and a whole host of other factors to keep you and your passengers safe. Front, side and full-length curtain airbags come standard.

In adverse driving conditions, the HR-V is able to detect over-steer or under-steer, and automatically adjust its path for stability and safety. It can also manage brake pressure and engine power to help you regain control.

Parking is easy when you can see everything behind you, all thanks to the wide rear view camera in the HR-V.

When the driver brakes and stops the vehicle in traffic, remaining stationary for some time, the Auto Brake Hold is activated to hold the vehicle position. It is then automatically released upon acceleration.

HSA prevents ’rolling back’ when starting on an incline. The system controls brake pressure, keeping the car stationary as you release the brake pedal and prepare to accelerate.
