Program Details
Purpose To build capability to guide and coordinate work in an organization for sustained TQM initiative with particular reference to Deming Prize requirements.
Objectives The participants will be able to understand: 1. TQM principles, concepts and techniques 2. Role of TQM coordinator 3. Interfacing with the top management for TQM
promotion 4. Coordination of TQM promotion activities throughout
the organization 5. Infrastructure development and communication for
effective promotion
Focus on The participants will be able to develop knowledge and skills
for:
1. TQM
2. Daily Work Management/ Policy Management
3. Quality in upstream processes such as Sales & marketing,
Product & Process Design
4. Quality Improvement
5. Facilitating TQM in their respective companies / functions.
Participants Executives involved in the coordination of various aspects of
TQM initiatives in an organization in the process of
implementing or planning to implement TQM initiatives.
Executives could be from any function. Minimum batch size
from a company is 2 participants.

Non- Residential workshop of 3 days duration.
8 to 10 hours a day of high intensity work
Participants are required to reach the venue on 04th October
2017 and can leave after 7 PM on 07th October, 2017. This will
enable participants to save one day of hotel cost.
Method Combination of lectures, case studies and workshops by
quality management professionals from industry including
Deming Prize winning companies. Approximately 50% time
will be in group activity.

Fee The professional fee for this workshop will be Rs. 60,000 per participant. Goods & Service Tax (GSTIN) as per GOI regulations will be charged extra. Current rate is 18%.
The fee covers lecture fee; course material; and training facility expenses.
The fee does not cover the boarding and lodging expenses; outstation travel and local travel of the participants.

Faculty Profiles
Mr. Anil Sachdev Anil is currently President with TQMI. His areas of expertise include TQM/ Deming Prize, Daily work management, Problem solving, Six Sigma, Lean Management, New Product and Design for Six Sigma. Anil is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering, M. Tech in Industrial Engineering from IIT-Delhi and holds Advance Diploma in Enterprise Management from AIMA, Delhi and has more than 30 years of work experience, including 20+ years in the consultancy field. Anil is an Associate Academician in the prestigious ‘International Academy for Quality (IAQ)’ and honorary Secretary General of Indian Society for Quality (ISQ). Anil has assisted select organizations in their journey towards Deming Prize like SRF Limited, Tata Steel, Mahindra & Mahindra (Farm Equipment division) etc. and guiding more companies like Tata Motors, Mahindra Powerol Chemicals, Apollo Tyres, and Ranbaxy in their TQM journey. The intervention is typically under the guidance of renowned Japanese Consultants like Prof. N. Kano, Prof. H. Kume and Prof. Y. Washio. He has been leading Six Sigma deployment team of TQMI for over a decade. This includes leading Motorola Solutions Learning operations on Six Sigma/ Lean in India for more than eight years. He has led and participated in many other Six Sigma Implementation Teams of TQMI working with various clients like Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., Videsh Sanchar Nigam Ltd., Tata BPO, Tata Chemicals Ltd., Tata SSL, Max Life Insurance, Aviva Life, etc., EXL Services, Accenture BPO and Moser Baer to name a few. He has facilitated the implementation of more than 700 Six Sigma/ Lean Six Sigma projects. He is also guiding companies like Moser Baer, Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Steel and Xylem Water Solutions on deployment of DFSS to improve quality of design and engineering of products. He has guided over 100 DFSS projects in Indian Industry. He is an approved lean facilitator from Motorola University and has helped companies on their Lean implementation journey in both manufacturing and service environments. His clients on Lean include LSG SkyChef (Lufthansa Group) in UK and Germany. Besides large client base in India, he has also been actively associated with quality initiatives of few large companies overseas, including SKF Bearings - Japan & Malaysia; Dubai Aluminum Company; ETA Group in Dubai, Emirates Refining Co., Sharjah; and Siemens, Indonesia. Anil started his career with Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited with responsibilities of carrying out quality improvement projects and development & assessment of Quality Management Systems. He joined TQM Division of Confederation of Indian Industry, New Delhi in 1992 and joined TQM International Pvt. Ltd. (TQMI) 1996 and is presently responsible for Business Solutions and Six Sigma divisions of TQMI. Anil is also a qualified QA Engineer & QA trainer from RWTUV, Germany, and is qualified assessor for EFQM model of business excellence from CII. He has undergone one year special training in SQC & OR from Indian Statistical Institute, Chennai (1984), is a qualified Black Belt for Six Sigma from Multiface Inc., USA (1999) and qualified Master Black Belt from Bluefire Partners Inc., USA (2002). Anil has also attended training on Toyota Production Systems & daily activity management by Komatsu Career Creations, Japan.
