“Ms. Tomarchio has a unique way of running her classroom because she maintains a business-like environment. Although her classroom is much like a business office, it still has a fun and productive learning atmosphere.”
“Ms. Kingsley’s classroom is more laidback with an easy and inviting learning environment. She keeps every student involved in whatever the day’s activities might be by being an active participant in the classroom activities.”
“Mr. Draves’ class has an orderly routine, but is very hands-on. In his Economics class, he has what he calls “Market Day” where the students have to sell goods for “Hawk dollars.” This event gives the students an opportunity to experience economics at a whole new level.”

The Academy is a family; and everything that comes with it.
We don’t have the same problems other students have when it comes to being overloaded with work.
It helps having 3 teachers who will look out for you.

In their words
“The overall accomplishments and the appearance of the students (all dressed very appropriately) was very impressive. Since I handle the hiring of the majority of our personnel … it was a real pleasure to see how nicely the students spoke and appeared for this presentation. You and your staff canvery proud of that.” -Parent
Keepin’ it Real
“I would stress to future parents that this Academy helps strengthen their academic attitude, as well as their emotional attitudes about their world and their future. They will truly be better prepared in the real world for having seen the "behind the scenes" of every day life in the workplace.” – Christine Prater
Parent
Keepin’ it Real
“The Academy helps these students to learn to believe in themselves wherein perhaps just taking the regular course of high school classes might be missed or overshadowed. There is more emphasis on developing EACH student, rather than a class as a whole. “– Christine Prater
