Service and offer the homily.

On Monday, the feast of Holy Apostle

Andrew and Saint Andrei Saguna, the

Divine Liturgy will be served at 9 am.

Following, Father Grama will have a

Power Point presentation on the life of

Holy Hierarch Andrei Saguna in the

Cultural Hall.

We look forward to having a spiritually rewarding

After almost a year of

suffering, our sister in

Christ, Anuica Popa,

wife of late husband,

Traian Popa, has rest in

peace on Tuesday,

November 24, only five

days apart from her

83rd birthday. Ana, as

we all know her, was born in 1937 in Selens,

Yugoslavia, married her late husband, Traian, in

1955 and followed him in the United States for a

better life. She was a hard worker and a very good

christian, who lived with fear of God and respect for

His church. Father Grama gave her the last

communion on Sunday, November 22, so she went

prepared to meet with the Creator. May God Rest her in Peace, & our deepest condolences

to her niece, Marinica and her family!

The Parish Council discussed

the challenges of parish administration during these hard

times. By God’s Grace, our church is open and we continue

to provide spiritual assistance in the best ways we can.

Father has been offering regular services and visitations

when solicited and the parish office have been providing

continuous services to our members.

President Viorel Oancea thanked Gheorghe Popa and

Vasile Peicu for replacing all electrical sockets around the

church building. The patio work around the statue of the

Virgin Mary has been finished. New top soil was spread

around it and the electric installation is to be finished.

Vasile Peicu and Viorel Oancea are working to install the

benches dedicated to our veteran clergy.

The Council thanked Mrs. Maria Tent and the team of

Ladies for their Langosh project that generated $1,300.

However, we are concerned about the low level of

donations. We hope that Thanksgiving and Christmas will

be a time of generosity to help redress church funding. The

Council urges our faithful to continue to support the needs

of the parish by sending weekly and monthly donations in

the donation envelopes.

Meanwhile, the following activities have been postponed

due to either lack of funds or Covid-19 State advisory:

Trees cutting on church property

Fish Dinner to Go (November 29)

WIFI upgrading, needs further study.

Saint Andrew the First-Called Apostle

Saint Andrew the First-Called Apostle is celebrated on November 30. The feast of Saint Andrew is marked with a red cross in the church calendar, and in 1997 the Saint was proclaimed "Protector of Romania".
