Congratulations, Dr. Brian Caputo! Following a thorough review process, the Board of Trustees reached a consensus on Dr. Brian W. Caputo to serve as College of DuPage president. Joining COD as vice president of administrative affairs and treasurer in 2017, Dr. Caputo was named Interim College President after the departure of Dr. Ann Rondeau in January. The Board will conduct a formal vote on his employment agreement at its June 20 meeting. President’s Corner: Each year at this time, our commencement festivities give us the opportunity to recognize the achievements of students who have launched their educational journeys at College of DuPage. In some cases, many students have overcome great adversity in pursuit of their dreams. This year’s outstanding graduates, Rima Househ and Mark Littlefield Jr., stand as wonderful testaments to the transformative nature of education and the strong support offered by the entire College community. It is truly inspiring to witness Rima’s and Mark’s successes as well as being a part of a community college that sees so many amazing stories of triumph and grit. As we reflect on these stories, it is my hope that we use them to enhance our service to future students, so that they, too, experience the best of College of DuPage.
