Federal law allows you, the consumer, to choose how The Tri-County Telephone Association, Inc (TCT) uses your Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI). CPNI is data that is not publicly available, such as:

The type of service you subscribe to.

The number of telephones lines you have.

How much you use your services.

Calling and billing records.

Protecting your privacy is extremely important to TCT and the employees who work to deliver the kinds of telecommunications service you have come to expect from us. We value the trust you have placed in us, and your continued confidence is important to us.

In order for TCT to meet the future needs of our customers, we may share CPNI information with our affiliates including TC Wireless and TCT Technologies, Inc. We will disclose your CPNI records for the specific intent to analyze and/or provide products or services. This allows us greater ability to tailor the services we provide to you.

TCT does not share your information with any company other than those who work for us such as installation contractors, collection agencies, billing vendors, etc that may help us install, bill and market products and services to you. All such companies that act on our behalf are contractually obligated to keep the information we provide them confidential and to use the information we share only to provide the service we ask them to perform for us. TCT does not sell or share customer information with unrelated companies so they can market their products to you.

The White City Senior Center will be serving breakfast on Feb. 4 from 7:30 to 11am. The menu will include biscuits & gravy, pancakes, sausage, bacon, and eggs. A free will dona on is accepted.

Stop by the Lyona United Methodist Church, 1850 Wolf Road, rural Junc on City, on Monday, Feb. 6, for the church’s 73rd Annual Ground Hog Supper. Meals will be served from 3:30 to 8pm. The menu will include waffl es, pancakes, sausage, homemade ice cream, and beverages. The all-you-can-eat meal is $8 for adults, $4 for children 6-12, and free for children 5 and under. Local musicians will provide wonderful entertainment in the sanctuary while you wait. Plain and smoked link sausage for home use can be reserved by contac ng the church at 785-257-3474 or [email protected]. In case of inclement weather, the supper will be on Saturday, Feb. 11. The public is invited.

The First Congrega onal United Church of Christ of Council Grove will host their annual Lenten Luncheons beginning Thursday March 2 in Fellowship Hall at 400 W. Main St. They are held each Thursday through April 6. Serving begins at noon and is followed with a devo onal me from an area pastor and concludes by 1pm. The menu includes a choice of two soups, dessert, relishes and drink. A list of speakers will be announced on TCT TV channel 2 and in the Council Grove Republican. There is a free-will off ering that is used for local mission projects of the church. Everyone is welcome to a end.

Mark your calendars! The White City Trunk Sales are star ng up again! Beginning in March, on the fi rst Saturday of every month we will have our downtown sales from 8am to 3pm inside the City Building. Several wonderful vendors will be there: homemade foods, jellies, soaps, cra items, gunsmith, tag sale items, and each month new and diff erent items will be available. The Wolgast Memorial Scholarship is being off ered to students planning to a end college or voca onal training/trade school during the 2017-2018 school year. This Scholarship is administered through the Wilsey Chris an Church in memory of Harvey and Ethel Wolgast, long me members of the Wilsey Community.

Students applying should either be a resident of Morris County (even if a ending school in another county), be a ending or have graduated from a high school in Morris county (even if they live

in another county) or have been home-schooled in Morris county.

Applicants must be ac ve in their church and have the goal of serving Christ through their college and post-college years. Copies of the scholarship are available in the offi ces of the local high school counselors, and Morris County Chamber of Commerce.

When using any social media pla orm, take responsibility for your own safety and never join a group just because it is trendy or all your friends are doing it. In evalua ng the advantages and disadvantages of social networking, it's best to err on the side of cau on and protect your privacy. Be careful with what you post and treat others as if you were in a face-to-face situa on.

Notice of KUSF Rate Increase —Eff ective March 1, 2017 Kansas Rural Telephone Companies are directed by the Kansas Corporation Commission (KCC) to change the rate for Kansas Universal Service Fund (KUSF) to 7.25%. Th e KUSF rate is determined on an annual basis in order to ensure funds are available to pay for KUSF supported programs such as High-Cost Support, Lifeline and Kan-Ed. If you have any concerns about this , please contact the KCC at 800-662-0027.

Notice of Local Rate Increase —Eff ective March 1, 2017, each rate class is increasing $0.25 per month in accordance with Kansas state law requirements as determined by the Kansas Corporation Commission. In addition there is an increase for the residential rate class to keep pace with federal regulatory requirements as determined by the Federal Communications Commission. Th erefore, residential rates will increase to $18.65 per month, and business rates to $20.25 per month. TCT will receive no additional net revenue as a result of these increases.
