In 2020, PAYCE Security Group acquired ADR Security Solutions to build its capability in delivering integrated security solutions. The ADR Security Solutions team included skilled project managers, engineers, estimators and security technicians that have proven experience in complex projects with a diverse range of security systems.

PAYCE Security Group is a newly formed division of the Paynter Dixon and PAYCE group of companies; operating a network of building, construction and infrastructure service businesses throughout Australia. The group is Australian owned and operated and has a proud history dating back to 1914.

The group CEO, John McMellan, has over 20 years’ experience leading Australia’s largest security organisations, none of which are Australian owned. PAYCE Security Group was founded with the aim of ensuring that a local Australian company, coupled with the best local talent, would deliver dynamic, truly integrated security solutions to its customers.

PAYCE Security Group has been working with Monash University since 2008 and was recently awarded a new service and maintenance contract - preferred supplier until December 2024.PAYCE Security Group provides the following services to Monash University for the Infiniti access control and security system, and Milestone/Axis VMS platforms:• Preventative maintenance.• Service response.• Project installation and design.• Management and tracking of

all aspect of the IP camera network for Monash through

use of our customer portal and the universities Webnet and AdHost platforms.

In addition to the ongoing maintenance contract at Monash University, PAYCE Security Group are also completing two major works projects that include a University wide system Upgrade of their Tecom Challenger EACS system to Inner Range’s Infiniti system, as well as a CCTV VMS upgrade form Axis Camera station to the Milestone XProtect Corporate VMS with High level integrations of both.

PROJECT DESCRIPTIONThis current project is in the prime location within Batman’s Hill precinct of Docklands, 750 Collins Street comprises a 10 level campus-style building, currently undergoing a full refurbishment in preparation for its new tenant Monash University.

OUR ROLEPAYCE Security Group has been chosen by ION Electrical to install a full Inner Range Infiniti access control and security alarm system and Milestone XProtect Corporate Video Management System.When complete this project will consist of 293 doors, 172 cameras, multiple alarm controllers and will be fully integrated with Monash’s existing security infrastructure.

PROJECT DESCRIPTIONThe Australian Synchrotron is a 3 GeV national synchrotron radiation facility located in Melbourne. It is the largest particle accelerator in the Southern Hemisphere.

OUR ROLEPAYCE Security Group has been ANSTO Australian Synchrotron’s preferred electronic security supplier since 2012. Our current preventative maintenance and service response services include access control, alarm detection, CCTV and intercom system maintenance and installation works. ICT Protégé GX security server administration and maintenance, NX Witness – VMS upgrade, installation and maintenance.In 2019, PAYCE Security Group completed a full implementation project of 78 Axis cameras onto new NX witness servers with high level interface with Protégé GX access control system, providing instant pop up and recording of cameras nearest to any events, like Duress activation, intrusions, sensitive area accessing, machine fault etc and footage is automatically stored, categorised and stamped for post event investigation.

PROJECT DESCRIPTIONChisholm is one of Victoria’s premier public vocational education and trainer providers prominently placed across Melbourne’s south east. Chisholm Frankston the Frankston Learning and Innovation Precinct is the result of a three-year project worth $85M to create digitally transformed classrooms and study spaces.

OUR ROLEPAYCE Security Group has been Chisholm Institute’s preferred security system maintenance and installation provider since 2016. Our service includes preventative maintenance, service call response and installation of Tecom Challenger, Forcefield Server Management and Avigilon Enterprise VMS servers and cameras.In 2019 we completed the Frankston Campus upgrade of existing Building B and new Building A development, including Tecom Challenger access control and alarm, Avigilon Enterprise VMS servers and cameras and Hikvision intercoms with low level Interfaces between all products.
