Landmarks

Elderblood PeaksThese ancient mountains are the central mountain range in the Elysian Empire. In their shadow the first High King built what is now the Capital City, Elysia. He and his kin are entombed within the Crypts of the Stag Kings, buried deep within the mountains. Ruins of an even older kingdom forgotten with time scattered throughout the mountains, and the Cult of the Voice is located at its highest peak. Annually, the High King makes a pilgrimage to the Cult of the Voice to pay homage to their magic and council. Abjuration Divination

DragonsreachMountains bordering the far North of the Elysian Empire, named for its most feared inhabitantDragons. An ever constant threat, Dragons and Wyvern flock down from Dragonsreach to wreak havoc, only the very brave or the very foolish dare to tread the paths up these mountains.

Corinthian MountainsNamed after the Fortress built into their side, the Corinthian Mountains are a majestic range once inhabited by the Dwarves. When the coming of man was little more than roaming barbarians, they took the City with force and drove the Dwarves from their land. Dwarven Artifacts are still being discovered in its depths.

Eastern WallJust south of the Corinthian Mountains, cutting off Rosetta from the rest of Elysian Empire are the mountains which have come to be known as the Eastern Wallfor their immense height. Likewise the path to Rosetta has come to be known as the Eastern Pass, as it is the safest land route through the Mountains.

Valenwood ForestA forest even more ancient than the race of Man, the Valenwood is merely the tip of the Glimmervale. It borders the southern edge of the Empire, and has long been associated with stories of Werewolves, Fey Creatures, and Ghosts. Only the most seasoned Huntsman enters the forest and hopes to emerge.

Falkreath ForestA smaller forest that lies between Falkreath and Rosettasouth of the Eastern Wall. While this may be the quicker path to Rosetta, it is the road less traveled. Stories and Folklore of Witches, Ghouls, and Goblins keep the inhabitants from entering the forest.

Festivals

The Great HuntThis Festival pays honor to Erastil. All the men of the village go on a three day hunting trip where the goal is to bring back the largest creature they can fell using only a bow.The hunt is then followed traditionally by a massive feast.

Summer Solstice FestivalTaking place on the longest day of the year, the people celebrate their harvest with dancing, feasts, and telling of tales by the Bards College in Elysia.

Winter Solstice FestivalCelebrated the day after the halfway point of the harsh winters, the people rejoice that spring is nearer. The people will dress in Elk costumes sporting antlers and pray to Erastil for a continued bountiful winter hunt.
