Once upon a time there was a mistakeSo silly so smallThat no one would even have noticed it

It couldn't bearTo see itself to hear of itself

It invented all manner of thingsJust to provethat it didn't really exist

It invented spaceTo put its proofs inAnd time to keep its proofsAnd the world to see its proofs

All it inventedWas not so sillyNor so smallBut was of course mistaken

Could it have been otherwise
