Land Instruments International is aprivately owned company which has beentrading for well over a century. Originallyin the silver plate trade, the company wastransformed in 1947 by Tom Land into ahi-tech business developing products forindustrial temperature measurement.
More recent developments have includedenvironmental monitoring, combustioncontrol instrumentation, thermal imagingand infrared linescanning.
Sustained growth in these different marketsectors has resulted in the formation ofLand Instruments International -marketing infrared temperaturemeasurement products and combustionand environmental monitoring products.

Land is very much an internationalcompany with 300 employeesworldwide.
Product development and manufacturingfacilities are at the Head Office inDronfield, England and in Pennsylvania,USA. Customer support and sales arehandled by Land offices in Europe, NorthAmerica and Japan. All other majorcountries are covered by distributors,who receive specialist training at theLand facility in Dronfield. This ensuresgood support for customers and providesfeedback of their specific requirements toLand. Customer support and back-up willcontinue to play a major role in the futuredevelopment of the company, on a world-wide basis.
Drawing upon the wealth of a century'sexperience, Land has begun the 21stcentury with an active policy of marketing,product development and increasingglobal market cover to provide an evengreater commitment to both its presentand future customers.
