DESCRIPTION
Frederick N. Jones Monty Selim Wiatt F. Bowers The City of Jacksonville recently adopted a progressive, mobility plan and fee system to replace its fair share concurrency management system. A major part of this effort includes the implementation of a sustainable, design-based mobility fee credit system, as a component of the City’s mobility fee formula. Aimed at providing incentives to new development or redevelopment, the presentation will explore how such projects can capitalize upon the surrounding context, employing density and design elements to reduce vehicular trip impacts and fees, encourage infill and redevelopment and support improved design outcomes.
