La Guía Hispana of Jacksonville (The Jacksonville Hispanic Guide) is brought to the Spanish speaking community to locate services available in Jackson-ville, Duval County, Florida. La Guía is a joint project brought by the volun-tary efforts of the Hispanic Health Council of Jacksonville and the Mayor’s Hispanic American Advisory Board (MHAAB).

The purpose of La Guía is to connect the Hispanic community with various available resources. The goal is to overcome some of the barriers identified. Many of the services included in La GUÍA are available in Spanish, unless otherwise noted. La Guía includes 49 categories of resources, as well as, important phone numbers and information regarding health insurance cov-erage, financial, social, legal, government, and other services available.
