Regular Board Meeting Present: Toni Landenberger, Ad-am Engelman, Jill Scheele, & Gary Stohs Angie Clifford & Paul Kostal were excused from the meeting Motion to approve minutes of last meeting made by Gary Stohs and seconded by Adam Engelman. Passed with 4 yea, 0 nay. Principal Mezger reported on the teacher evaluation instrument, MAPS testing, the ACT date for seniors (Sep. 22 is the date due to missing the date in the spring), professional growth, and school improvement.
No student report. The Board received a letter of thanks from Mrs. Susan Meyer for the support she received over the years as a teacher in the District. The Board appreciated her efforts during her career and wishes her well in retirement. Mr. Mezger noted the importance of our students being one-to-one with technology devices. The new software updates have improved
our ability to be active learners online. Superintendent Meyerle gave an update on several warranty items with Caspers-Sampson in the new gym. Superintendent Meyerle noted procedures and protocols that are taking place in the buildings and by the staff due to COVID-19. He noted that he was very pleased with the efforts of staff and students. The school will be cautious with those that are in contact with positive cases, and have such students or staff quarantine unless it becomes an issue of being able to have school or not. If that is the case, then the school would consider those with close contact to come to work while wearing a mask as the state is allowing.
