12. After divesting, remove the veneers from the sprues using a cutting wheel.

TIP: DenMat Lab prefers using Brassler cutting wheel number: 918PB.hP220

9. Place resin patterns on model to check:

a. Fit b. Contacts c. Margin thickness d. Contours e. Anatomy

13. use a diamond wheel to remove the excess material remaining from the sprue. it is important to keep the veneer wet with water to avoid overheating, which may cause stress fractures.

TIP: DenMat Lab prefers using Brassler diamond wheel number: 902 hP 130

14. using a diamond, carefully relieve the internal surface of the veneer in order to achieve best marginal adaptation.

TIP: DenMat Lab prefers using Brassler diamond medium taper number: 850.11.016

15. Contour the LuMineers.

TIP: DenMat Lab prefers using Brassler dialite polisher number: L26 DBC

16. stain and glaze the LuMineers.

17. Acid etch the internal surface of each veneer with hydrofluoric acid. The acid solution should be left on the veneer for two minutes then triple rinsed in water, then dried prior to shipping.

10. use wax to position the printed veneers at the correct angle and position. There should be no more than 3 veneers per ingot being pressed at a single time.

The sprue should be 8 or10 gauge based on the size of the tooth. The smaller the tooth the narrower the sprue. The length of the sprue should be 6-8mm depending on size of restoration.

TIP: Attach the sprue to the incisal 1/3, or thickest part of the restoration

11. using the WhipMix Formula 1 investment, follow the LuMineers Lab instructions sheet for investing, Burnout, Pressing & Divesting.

The amount of veneers should not exceed a pattern weight of .55g per ingot. The placement of the sprue to the facial side of the veneer should be at a 60 degree angle.

TIP: DenMat Lab prefers using Corning sticky Wax
