    PRECAUTIONS IN DIAGNOSIS

    ALWAYS NOTE THE DTC INDICATED FIRST

    OBSERVE ALL PRECAUTIONS FOR ELECTRICAL SERVICE

    WHEN TWO OR MORE TROUBLES HAVE OCCURRED,

    THEIR DTCs ARE INDICATED 3 TIMES EACH STARTING

    WITH THE SMALLEST CODE NUMBER AND UP

    DTC NO. 22 ENGINE SPEED SIGNAL FAILURE IS

    INDICATED WITH THE IGNTION ON AND ENGINE NOT

    RUNNING. THIS INDICATION CHANGES TO NORMAL CODE

    12 WHEN THE ENGINE IS STARTED IF THE EPS SYTEM ISOPERATING NORMALLY

    ALL DTC STORES IN MEMORY SHOULD BE CLEARED

    AFTER REPAIR.
