...And Christmas Again! Tonight, we are celebrating one of the most amazing miracles that has ever been. God decided to become a man. Have you thought how amazing that is? It’s a miracle! A miracle that came in the most unrecognizable way. For God, nothing is impossible! As possible, as it was to be born in the most humble way to show us that He, God, can give up everything for us. Now tonight, I am inviting you to decide if you want to be a follower of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ who came for you, for me, for the people that you like the most, and for the people that you don't like at all. Jesus Christ, who is teaching us that salvation is coming and understanding that we must give up everything for love. With all my love, I want to wish you a Merry Christmas! … Y nuevamente la navidad. Esta noche celebramos uno de los mas maravillosos Milagros que Dios hizo. Dios decidio hacerse hombre. Has pensado que impresionante es esto? Es un milagro! Un milagro que se nos da en una forma ireconocible; “ para Dios nada es imposible” como posible fue nacer en la forma que como humanos pudieramos entender que El, Dios puede dar todo por nosotros. Esta Noche, te inivito que decidas si tu quieres ser un verdadero seguidor de Cristo Jesus, quien vino por ti por mi, por la gente que mas quieres, por la gente que mas te disgusta, Jesus Cristo nos enseña que la salvacion viene entendiendo que necesitamos dar humildemente todo por amor al otro. Jesus, Mary & Joseph In the first reading, Sirach echoes God’s mandate to honor our father and mother, for in doing so we honor God. In the second reading, Saint Paul instructs the Colossians to live in the spirit of Christ, loving one another and seeking peace. In the Gospel, Joseph and Mary present Jesus at the temple for the ritual Jewish purification. There they encounter the prophet Simeon and prophetess, Anna, who offer thanks to God for this long-awaited Savior and foretell of his coming reign of power.

Confirmation Save the Date - Concert Series Save the date for the Confirmation II Concert Series fundraiser on Sunday, January 21. There will be live entertainment, raffle, fellowship and food. Stay tuned for details to come! Proceeds benefit the Confirmation Retreat. Family Mass and Parents Meeting 2018 candidates and parents are reminded of the First Saturday Family Mass on Saturday, January 6 at 5:00 PM. Immediately following at 6:00 PM will be the Parents Meeting. Important information will be discussed relating to schedule and fundraiser. If the parents are not able to attend, an adult may represent in their absence.

OLMC School News Steps for Students is an annual archdiocesan-wide event where all school and parish communities can come together as one to support Catholic education. The goal of Steps for Students is to raise awareness of the importance of a Catholic education and provide much needed resources for our Catholic Schools. Steps for Students will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018. Please support Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School.
