Tools absent of knowledge is the reason one uses a hammer to drive a screw!
As a lover of woodworking, I know the importance of having the correct tool. However, equally valued is the understanding of its proper use and application. These same concepts can be applied to any educational endeavor.
Helping one discover new insights to combat existing paradigms, to properly use skills and concepts previously unknown, is the primary reason I love to teach.
We must have knowledge and understanding, not just tools, to become masters of our profession.
