UNPAN-ARADO (Background)
• ARADO joined UNPAN Project in 1999 (First UNPAN Consultative Inter-Regional Meeting)
• In the year 2000, ARADO signed a cooperation agreement with the Division for Public Economics and Public Administration, Department of Economic and Social Affairs in the United Nations (DESA), to participate in UNPAN project

Suggestions
• Add Localized fieldsLocalized fields to UNPAN Data Entry form to be entered in the original language of the document:– Title– Keywords
• Add the capability of MultilingualMultilingual Search to UNPAN Portal Search Engine, in order to allow UNPAN users to search the database with the document original language (this will expand the benefits of the portal as it will serve more clients and researchers).

Future Plans
• Uploading 9000 Digitized Documents (Information Resources) to UNPAN database (to be uploaded within 3-4 years).
• Linking the Dictionary of Administration Terminology (Arabic, English and French) to UNPAN Portal, to be available to all UNPAN members and users.
• Organizing e-conferences & e-training.
