• Full pre-operational mode in summer 1999• first results are positive:

– CP accesses daily to risk maps

– significant correlation among risk level and N. of fires in a specific area

New developments:services for the L’Aquila Province (I)

• Geographic-based information services are provided, based upon a mix of space technologies (remote sensing, space geodesy)

• Information is shared among Province, Majorities and Mountain Communities and is possibly made available to public access
