Mr. Know-it-all has yet another timing problem with Quran. Moses and the Injil? Jesus isborn more than 1,000 years after Moses, but in 7:157 Allah speaks to Moses about what iswritten in the Injeel [the book given to Jesus].

Mr. Know-it-all believes are unclear or ambiguous in nature. He thinks of Quran in a verydifferent way. This is the problem of not knowing the language of Quran; Arabic. We have toknow where the topic is closing and where it ends.

However let us look at the translations of Yousuf Ali, for the verses.

Al-A'rf 07:156. And ordain for us good in this world, and in the Hereafter. Certainly we have turned unto You." He said: (As to) My Punishment I afflict therewith whom I will and My Mercy embraces all things. That (Mercy) I shall ordain for those who are the Muttaqn (pious - see V.2:2), and give Zakt; and those who believe in Our Ayt (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs and revelations, etc.); Al-A'rf 07: 157. Those who follow the Messenger, the Prophet who can neither read nor write (i.e.Muhammad SAW) whom they find written with them in the Taurt (Torah) (Deut, xviii, 15) and the Injeel (Gospel) (John xiv, 16), - he commands them for Al-Ma'rf (i.e.Islmic Monotheism and all that Islm has ordained); and forbids them from Al-Munkar (i.e.disbelief, polytheism of all kinds, and all that Islm has forbidden); he allows them as lawful At-Taiyibt [(i.e. all good and lawful) as regards things, deeds, beliefs, persons, foods, etc.],and prohibits them as unlawful Al-Khab'ith (i.e. all evil and unlawful as regards things, deeds, beliefs, persons, foods, etc.), he releases them from their heavy burdens (of Allh's Covenant), and from the fetters (bindings) that were upon them. So those who believe in him (Muhammad SAW), honour him, help him, and follow the light (the Qur'n) which has been sent down with him, it is they who will be successful.

In 7:156 one topic has been concluded, and in 7:157 a new one has begun. They arespeaking about two different time periods. The new topic has moved from the time of Prophet Moses ( ) to the time of Prophet Muhammad ( ) and isdescribing those who "follow the unlettered prophet (Muhammad, ) )) whomthey find written in the Torah and the Injeel that is with them." Many stories related to thisverse and the Jews of the time of Muhammad ( ) could be narrated hereconfirming how they did indeed recognize him,

Neither is God speaking to Moses in this verse nor is it even addressed to those who lived inthat age. If so, then how can they be expected to "follow" Prophet Muhammad ( ) if he has not even been born yet? In order to generate a contradiction, this address isredirected by the author of this list from the Jews and Christians of the time of Muhammad) ) and directed towards Moses ( and then forced to be a continuation (of a previous topic. The verses narrate the story of the Jews in the time of Moses ( (and then move a few centuries into the future in order to display their situation at and after the time of Prophet Muhammad ( ).

I suppose that according to this logic that it shall be acceptable to claim that Deut. 18:18-19

is commanding Prophet Moses ( and the Jews that are with him to follow a newprophet who is present in their time? Similarly, according to such logic, should we insist that (Acts 3:24-26 is a continuation of the words of Moses ( in Acts 3:22-23? Should we (

then insist that Acts 2:24-26 claims that prophet Moses ( spoke of Samuel's future (confirmation of his prophesy? Are the verses of Acts 2:24-26 the words of Moses? Shouldwe force them into his mouth just because the previous two verses of Acts 2:22-23 were hiswords?

All our Mr. Know-it-all has to do is read-in the context before commenting on the verses of Quran, I suggest that he learns a little Arabic before he believes he is learned enough tocomment on Quran.

O my Learned Christian readers and Mr. Know-it-all , do you really want to turn your faceaway from the truth? Would you take man-made lies instead of truth of Islam in your lives?do you have any sense of reason? Do they have any thinking-heads? Does God stop youfrom thinking reasonably? Or would you like to regret in the hereafter.

They will say, "If only we had really listened and used our intellect, we would not have been Companions of the Blaze." (Noble Quran, Surat al-Mulk: 10) or would the followers of St.Paul like to regret!

O Mr. Know-it-all ! Respond to your Lord before a Day comes from Allah [ ],which cannot be turned back. On that Day you will have no hiding-place and no means of denial. (Noble Quran, Surat ash-Shura: 47)
