4-H Club

Description: 4-H has three primary program initiatives: citizenship; healthy living; and science, engineering and technology. Youth learn leadership, citizenship and life skills through a variety of projects with topics such as outdoor skills, aerospace, animal science, nutrition, forestry, and community service. All activities take place during school.

Requirements: Students must maintain a B average in Conduct.

Description: Around the World Club will focus on the cultures and geography of different countries of the world and how to travel there.   

Requirements: Have a desire to learn more about what cultures make up our world.

The Bookworm Club

Description: For students who have a passion for reading. Each month, club members will be given a book to read, which will be discussed at the next months’ meeting. We will also participate in crafts/activities that are related to the books we are reading each month.

Requirements: Students must have a “B” or better in Conduct for each nine weeks.

Description: Students will read, write/create funny and rhythmic poetry. Students will learn to write poetry that includes the following forms:

haiku, acrostic, concrete, limerick, free verse, couplet, and cinquain.

Requirements: Writers of all styles and levels are welcome.

Description: Students will learn how to upload & edit photos while creating a digital scrapbook. At

the conclusion of the school year, students will order their individually created book.

Description: The objective of the club is to encourage students to interact with family members for the purpose of learning more about their family.

Members will learn to build a family tree and learn how to document family stories.
