WHEREAS, the School Board ofIndependent School District No. 423adopted a resolution proposing to placeKristin Enfield on unrequested leave ofabsence on April 14, 2008, on thegrounds of program changes.

WHEREAS, said written notice of theproposed placement on unrequestedleave was received by Kristin Enfieldby personal service on April 15, 2008,and

WHEREAS, said written notice of theproposed placement on unrequestedleave contained a statement settingforth the reasons for the proposedplacement as well as a statement thatshe was entitled to a hearing before theschool board provided she make arequest in writing within fourteen daysof receipt of said notice, and that if nohearing was requested within saidfourteen day period it constitutedacquiescence by Kristin Enfield to theschool board’s proposed action, and

WHEREAS, no written request of anykind was received by the school boardor superintendent of schools fromKristin Enfield, and
