WHEREAS, by Governor’s Executive Order No. 3586 datedMay 20, 1993, certain land and improvements situate at Kahului,Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii, containing an area of 5.572 acres, more orless, more particularly delineated on the map marked Exhibit “A”attached hereto and made a part hereof, was set aside for theKahului Civic Center Purposes, to be under the control andmanagement of the Department of Accounting and General Services;and

WHEREAS, the Board of Land and Natural Resources at itsmeeting held on September 28, 2018, approved the cancellation ofGovernor’s Executive Order No. 3586 dated May 20, 1993.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DAVID Y. IGE, Governor of the Stateof Hawaii, by virtue of the authority vested in me under Section171-11, Hawaii Revised Statutes, as amended, do hereby order thatGovernor’s Executive Order No. 3586 dated May 20, 1993, be andthe same is hereby cancelled and declared of no force and effect.

SUBJECT to disapproval by the Legislature by two-thirdsvote of either the Senate or the House of Representatives or bymajority vote of both, in any regular or special session nextfollowing the date of this Executive Order.
