Mechanism Parts Quantity

2.RabbettheFront(C)andBack(D)asshowntoacceptSides(B).

3. RoutoutsideedgesoftheBase(A)andTop(E)withRomanOgee bit(91639,soldseparately)ordecorativebitofyourchoice.

Assembly1. Tomakethebase,gluetheSides(B),Front(C)andBack(D)together. Aftergluehasdried,positionboxontotheBase(A)andattach.Ifnails areused,alwayspre-drillholestopreventsplitting.

2. Nextglueandornaildrawerpiecestogether.Thefrontofthedrawer hasrabbetedendstofitovertheSides(B).Centerknobondrawer frontandscrewinplace.

3. Ifusingthewheeltypegrinder,markthecenteronthetopsideofTop(E) andcounterbore23⁄8"diameterx1/8"deepandthendrillathroughhole of15⁄8"diameter.YoumayuseForstnerbits23⁄8"(29045,soldseparately) and15⁄8"(68802,soldseparately).

4. Setthelowerflangedgrinderbowlintotheholeandmarkanddrill1/16" pilotholesx7/16"deepinthecounterboredareaforthewoodscrews.

5. Determinelocationofholesforthetwomachinethreadedboltsusedto attachthetopgrinderbowl.Note:Positiontopgrindersowheelisparallel tosides.Markanddrill5/32"holesthroughthetop(E).

6. Sandandfinish. Note:ItmaybeeasierifthemechanismisattachedtotheTop(E) beforethetopisattachedtothebox.

7. Insertthegrindershaftupthroughthelowergrinderbowl.Setthis assemblyintothethroughholeandscrewinplaceusingthesmallsilver screwsprovidedwiththemechanism.Assembleandlowerthetop grinderbowlontothegrindershaft/lowerbowlAttachusingthetwo machinethreadedboltsandnutsprovidedwithmechanism.
