    School ElectionThe annual school election is Tuesday,May 5. Voters are being asked toconsider a NonHomestead Millage

    renewal. If you own only the houseand property where you live, or ownqualifed agricultural property,yourtaxes will not increase as a result ofthis millage. Please remember to voteon May 5.

    Sheridan SpringfestSheridan Springfest invites all kids

    to walk in the 2009 Springfest KidsParade on Saturday, May 23, at 10a.m. No registration is necessary.

    Children of all ages who are interestedin participating should plan to arriveat 9:30 a.m. for the parade lineupthat starts on Pearl Lake Drive, justwest of the VFW.

    The parade will then proceed easton County Farm Road to the VFWsback parking lot, where prizes forcostumes will be awarded and freegames and refreshments will be

    offered.This years theme will be Honor ToThe Flag. The theme will show howthe ag represents all Americans whohave fought for our freedom, eithernow or in the past, and how we honorthose Americans through honoringthe ag.

    Participants are encouraged to dressor decorate in relation to the theme.In case of rain, the parade, games,and refreshments will be held insidethe VFW post. Please feel free to call(989) 2915033 with any questions.
