Rules for 3D prinng

Needs to be exported as an STL File

Model needs to be waterght

(Doesnt always maer, Rhino has that issue)

Once you have your part modeled and exported as an STL

(Also best to model in mms)

Open with ReplicatorG

Replicator G produces the

G code required.

Many opons can be chosen

in exactly HOW its printed.

(Fill density, ra or raless, how its lled,

wall thickness, etc.)

ISSUES:

Somemes the makerbot will not connect or

will freeze up. Firmware needs to be reset

please go to an ocial with this.

Extruder motor issues.

Machine does get hot, dont touch the printhead.

Careful around the electronics.

Watch the part unl it gets

going well.

Limits on sizes (cupcake)

3x3x3 so its quite small

ABS will ogas when heated

venlaon may be needed....

in general do not print mulple pieces in

a row and if its prinng correctly try leaving

room o and on.
