HBA AWARDED BEST INTERIOR DESIGNER
OF THE YEAR IN INDIA
HBA is Awarded IDE Honor for Top Design and Innovation in
2012
NEW DELHI, INDIA (November 2, 2012)Global hospitality interior
design firm, HBA, is
being honored at India Interiors Summit 2012 as Best Interior
Designer of the Year. The
awards will be held on November 2nd at the Kempinski Ambiance
Hotel in Delhi, a hotel
recently designed by HBA.
Honorees were carefully studied on their expertise. The judges
considered who hascontributed significantly towards the development
of the industry and has delivered
remarkable works of artistic creations. HBA was therefore
selected based on their influence
to the Indian design community.
Its been a privilege to work in such as culturally rich and
dynamic environment, said Ian
Carr, CEO of HBA. It is an honor to be awarded such a highly
esteemed distinction.
The jury was made up of eminent industry stalwarts adjudging the
winners after careful
assessment of their present, past and future projects. The jury
represents professionals
from the design and architecture industry in India who,
themselves, has been honored for
their exquisite presence in the Indian design and architecture
community.
Since 1997 HBA has been working in India while designing the
Juhu Beach Marriott and
Grand Hyatt Mumbai. HBA has developed their portfolio in the
country to encompass some
of the worlds finest nameplates including the Four Seasons,
Hyatt, JW Marriott, Sheraton,
Shangri-La Kempinski and Taj.
Today, HBA is at the forefront of global design and architecture
in India, having completed
more than 45 projects in the region. Park Hyatt Hyderabad marks
HBAs 45th completed
project in the region and their ongoing commitment to Indias
growth. HBA is set to open
over 20 new projects in India in the coming years.
HBAs presence in India is growing even stronger under the HBA
established Studio brand.
Studio has completed significant hotel projects in India
including Radisson Blu HotelFaridabad, Royal Orchid Hotel
Hyderabad, Courtyard Marriott Bangalore, and pan-Asian
restaurant Zazen.
