RE: LADWP Water Rate Ordinance

1 protest to the proposed water rate restructure and increase in rates. I am a senior citizen living on fixed income with no cost of living raise on my social security benefits this year.

The stress of water rationing due to the drought and the pressure from the LADWP that I am using too much water based on what my neighbors are using is very disturbing to me. Now you want an increase in rates because WE ARE NOT USING ENOUGH WATER and the LADWP is not MAKING ENOUGH MONEY????? Plus, the LADWP has not projected and planned well for the failure of the 100+ years old infrastructure of the writer system????? I feel it’s time to reassess the management and planning of the actual day- to-day running of the organization - time to trim the excess fat - and run it like a professional corporate organization.

Sincerely,

The Doyle Family Trust Lynda K. Doyle. Trustee 15834 Blackhawk St.Granada Hills, CA 91344
