Here are the qualities that I am looking for in my team:

Women who already know that God intended for them to have more.

Women who can embrace Mary Kay’s philosophy of God first, family second,

and career third. Also the Golden Rule – treat others the way you would like

to be treated.

Women who can get excited about positively impacting women.

Women who are willing to work to increase their financial situation.

Women who have or want a high degree of independence.

Women who are willing to be part of a team, love to create a positive

environment and have a will to win.

The simplest & most important example in our business is the fact that the person who asks the most people for facials, classes or interviews will move up the ladder of success faster & stronger! The law of averages tells us that out of every ten women you ask to listen to the MK opportunity, approximately five will say yes. When five say yes, usually three or four actually really listen. Out of these, one will sign up. Therefore it takes asking ten to recruit one person!

DARE TO SHARE! Make it your goal to always have 5 yes’s each week.

• If you ask only one person per month, you will probably recruit one every ten months, or 1 1/5 recruits each year!

• If you ask only one person per week, you will probably recruit one every ten weeks, or five new business associates per year!

• If you ask two people per week, you will probably recruit one every five weeks, or ten new business associates per year!

• If you ask five people each week, you will probably recruit one every two weeks, or twenty-five new business associates per

The Month Team Production is the total that your personal recruits have placed in wholesale orders in one calendar month. Based on number of active personal team members and your wholesale order, you can receive 4%, 9% or 13%. When you combine your team’s production and your personal production, you can see how you are tracking for the use of a MK car or $375 a month cash compensation. This avenue of income can be very substantial when you follow your numbers, work full circle and grow your team. The top line is for your actual month’s totals. YOUR COMMISSION EARNED

A $50 team-building bonus will be paid to Star Team Builders, Team Leaders, Future

Independent Sales Directors and Sales Directors-in-Qualification for each qualified personal team member beginning with the fourth personal team member. In the month your team

member’s initial qualifying order is received, you must be active and have a minimum of three

other active personal team members to receive the bonus.

One Week Before Promoting your upcoming sale is your goal. Tell your customers your spectacular deals with compelling images. You only have their attention for a few second so say a lot without saying much. Remember your goal is to promote your upcoming sale, not sell them right then and there.

Day Before As a gentle reminder of your sale, send out an email to your customers reminding them the Black Friday deals you are offering. Be sure to mention popular products that will be for sale.

Black (PINK) Friday Consider an email the morning of Black Friday as another reminder of your special sales. You could even consider adding an additional promotional code in this email to attract more customers to your site.

Holiday Banners Creating banners for your website is a great way to build awareness and excitement for your upcoming sale. If your sale lasts longer than Black Friday, be sure to include the dates the sale will be active.

Holiday Categories Spice up your list of categories to include seasonal categories such as Gifts for Men or Women, Black Friday Promotions, etc. Your Black Friday strategy needs to focus on making it as easy as possible for the customer to find a product and to purchase it. Instead of sifting through endless categories, create a new promotional category that helps customers quickly find what they are looking for. Unsure what products to include in your category? Review your sales from Black Friday 2014 and see what products were purchased the most. After Black Friday, be sure to measure if this category outper-formed your traditional categories. This data will help you prepare for future Black Fridays and holidays.
