Introducing….

Linkletter Page 4

The Impact Performing Arts captains presented a rap written by one of our teachers Sarah Hill announcing our forth-

coming production, Seussical, at assembly on Monday and they did a great job – well done team! Seussical is a big production, it is a very exciting musical with lots of fabulous songs and dance routines. Preparations

have already been going on for weeks with the production team being in full force. All students in grades 1, 2 and 5 will be a part of this year’s production and through their Performing Arts classes will

learn and practice their parts for the show. Children from grades 3, 4, 5 and 6 will have the opportunity to audition for

a cast role. On Friday 21 April there be an information session for students interested in auditioning for the major

roles. The storyline and information about the different characters in the show will be given out to students.

Auditions will be held early in Term 2 and we have allocated a whole day. All students who auditioned will know if

they have been successful at the end of the day. Even if you don’t get the role you auditioned for there are still lots of ways to be in the production - dancers, chorus,

behind the scenes, making props, the list is endless! Students who are interested in a major role could have a look at Seussical Jnr on YouTube to see what it looks like and

what characters may appeal to them.

Watch this space for more information on our exciting production…
