DATES TO REMEMBER
Pope Francis has declared a Year of Mercy from 08 Dec 2015 (the 50th anniversary of the Second Vatican Council) to 20 Nov 2016. Pope Francis intends Catholics—an all Christians if they will—to refresh their faith through reflections on God’s mercy. He hopes that this intention will make the whole Church and individual Christians more active in their compassion towards others.
The Archdiocese of Melbourne has extended an invitation to all Parishioners to be part of the opening of a special Holy Door of Mercy on Sun 13 Dec at 2:30pm at St Patrick’s Cathedral.
