6mm transverse emittance, 200 MeV/c beam. Cuts: pt < 150, pz < 300, p value > 5%, no secondaries, only µ+ (cut uses MC data), no decays present, track appears in both trackers

Physics Block ChallengeLead: R. Bayes, C. Rogers• Falls under the purview of the Analysis group…• … but MAUS responsible for providing a

release version that works on the GRID. Currently have a version running not GRID, not yet a release• First physics block challenge run complete,

with the data made available to collaborators

Summary• TOF, KL, EMR in good shape and producing results• Tracker in good shape, able to measure emittance. Need to

implement online display, fix unpacking, look at low pt performance• CKOV work ongoing, producing results• Global tracking making steady progress now, but deadline very tight NB: We do not need Global to measure emittance, only TOF and Tracker• Geometry has been through vetting and found to be good• Framework: good, batch production now working, but need to plug

remaining memory leaks• General MAUS journal paper in production
