This program is designed to provide cutting-edge information and strategies for caring for critically ill children. The topics presented will explore pathophysiology, management and evidence-based treatment for a variety of diseases and illness states.

Pediatric healthcare providers often face difficult situations and need to work collaboratively. Please join us in examining management from emergency department through critical care. Since treatment strategies continue to evolve, this program will focus on the most up-to-date management of pediatric conditions.

We invite you to expand your knowledge on evidence-based pediatric critical care practices through this exciting conference. Expert pediatric healthcare providers will share their expertise through lectures and case studies. Join in the fun of learning through anonymous participation with our audiovisual, audience response system.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVESOn completion of this program, participants will be able to:

1. Integrate concepts related to the evidence-based management of select pediatric disorders.

2. Describe healthcare strategies, emerging technology and current research for practice in pediatric acute and critical care.

The program fee includes continuing education credit. A light lunch will be served. If you have special food preferences, you may choose to bring food that meets your needs.

Registrations must include the full tuition payment to be accepted. A letter of confirmation will be emailed before the conference begins. Syllabus handouts will be available for download on the website for conference participants, one week prior to and after the symposium.

Please note all registrations must be done online with secure credit card payment.

Note: Out of respect for presenters and conference participants, no children will be allowed in the conference sessions.

From I-10 Freeway, take Tippecanoe/Anderson Street exit. Turn South on Anderson Street, and proceed to the campus of Loma Linda University. Turn West on Stewart Street. South on Campus Street. Parking is in the guest parking structure (P3) for non-employees or Employee Parking (P2), level four or above. Use the pedestrian bridge or cross walk to reach the conference center.

CANCELLATIONSIf a participant cancels their registration less than seven days before the course start date, no refunds will be awarded. An administrative fee of $25 will be retained for all cancellations. If the participant does not attend the course, no refund will be awarded; full payment will be charged to the participant. In the event the course is canceled, a full refund will be given.

ACCREDITATIONContinuing Education CreditsLoma Linda University Medical Center, Staff Development is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation (ANCC).
