AgriSETA was established as the Sector Education and Training Authority for the economic sub-sectors that include primary and secondary agriculture through the Skills Development Act of 1998.
2021 ACADEMIC YEAR & 2021/2022 FINANCIAL YEAR
AgriSETA invites all AgriSETA levy paying employers, Commodity Organizations, Universities, TVET's, Agricultural Colleges, NGO's, CBO's, Community Based Co-operatives, and Small BEE �rms to forward applications for Bursaries, Internships, Artisan Development and Graduate Placement.
WINDOW PERIOD 1: BURSARIES, INTERNSHIPS, GRADUATE PLACEMENT, ARTISAN DEVELOPMENT
Ÿ Applications are open from 01 August 2020 to 15 September 2020.
INTERNSHIPS/GRADUATE PLACEMENT
Ÿ Only employers in the agricultural sector can apply for employed and unemployed learners.
Ÿ Funding for Graduate Placement shall only be for learners who and have quali�cations andrequire workplace experience in order to increase their chances of employment.
Ÿ Learners who have been funded the previous year and would like to continue with the samequali�cation, are supposed to re-apply (Continuations).
Ÿ Only online and e-mail DULY completed applications forms with relevant supportingdocuments shall be considered for evaluation.
Ÿ Only online and e-mail applications system shall be used to avoid loss of documents and topromote a paperless environment.

Ÿ Please note that only agricultural related quali�cations shall be supported for unemployedlearners while ONLY levy paying companies can apply for other quali�cations supportingtheir enterprises.
Ÿ No late application will be considered.
Ÿ Priority shall be given to Scarce and Critical skills / Occupations in high demand in theagricultural sector.
Ÿ No walk-in and hand delivered applications shall be allowed.
GUIDELINES
BURSARIES
Ÿ Funding to employed learners should be limited to their actual expenses related to thelearning programme.
Ÿ Applicants will be informed of the outcomes between 11 November 2020 to 13 December2020.
Ÿ To access the AgriSETA online application system, please visit the AgriSETA website, HomePage, Indicium system.
Ÿ No funding shall be provided to students who receive funding from other Governmentsources. e.g. NSFAS.
Ÿ Funding for Internships shall only be for learners who require practical exposure in order toobtain a quali�cation in agriculture.
ARTISAN DEVELOPMENT
All application shall be limited to only Scarce and Critical skills and Priority programmeslisted in this advertisement.

Ÿ R55 000.00 per learner
Ÿ Employers who would like to apply for learners who will like to enrol for trades.
INTERNSHIPS / GRADUATE PLACEMENT

Ÿ R47 700.00 per learner
Ÿ R39 750.00 (Under Graduate) per learnerŸ R63 600.00 (Post Graduate) per learner

PLEASE NOTE – Due to the high volume of applications received by AgriSETA in the past, stakeholders are advised to limit application to absoulute scarce and critical skills and priority programmes per the National Skills Development Plan (NSDP).
A valid South African Revenue Service (SARS) VAT Certi�cate whould accompany contracts during submission of documents. No contracts shall be accepeted / captured in the AgriSETA system unless a valid tax certi�cate is provide. Failure to submit a valid tax certi�cate shall jeopardise your approval and funds shall be re-allocated.
