The below outlines the terms and conditions for corporate partners and exhibitors.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS1. Local Government Professionals Australia reserves the right to amend the partnership programme or tailor partnership

agreements where possible to benefit the sponsor and/or the event with the aim of maximising corporate partner benefits as well as the delegates’ experience.

2. Local Government Professionals Australia values the significant contribution of our Corporate Partners to our programmes. Local Government Professionals Australia reserves the right to charge differential registration rates or exclude non-Corporate Partner attendance to events in the interests of our members and supporters.

3. Please note that all events are contingent on a certain number of registrations confirming attendance. If less than the designated minimum number of attendees register, then events may be cancelled. You will receive an email and/or telephone call in such an occurrence at least 7 days prior.

4. Any entitlements that are stated to be at the discretion of Local Government Professionals Australia are to be confirmed in writing by both parties prior to the partnership commencing.

5. Local Government Professionals Australia reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to deny or rescind an offer of partnership. Partners attending Local Government Professionals Australia events and programmes acknowledge the rights of all participants to a professional conference experience. Partners commit to respect all other attendees and will not disparage event participants.

6. All partnerships will only be confirmed upon receipt of a signed agreement and payment.

7. All cancellations must be made in writing directly to the listed Local Government Professionals Australia contact.

8. All sponsorship agreements will be considered on a first-received basis.

9. Unless prior arrangements have been made with Local Government Professionals Australia, this Partnership agreement must be settled within 30 days of invoice.

10. Upon receipt of this completed agreement, Local Government Professionals Australia will forward a confirmation email and tax invoice.

LIABILITYLocal Government Professionals Australia is not liable for damages or loss to corporate partners’ property and/or displays. We request that corporate partners secure adequate Public and Product Liability Insurance prior to events.

DISPLAYS, BANNERS AND EXHIBITIONSLocal Government Professionals Australia and our selected venue/s reserves the right to amend floor plans/layouts and allocated areas should the need arise. You will be notified if this eventuates. It is the responsibility of each participant/exhibitor to arrange appropriate insurance for items within their exhibition (please refer to liability above).

CANCELLATION POLICYIf you would like to cancel your sponsorship agreement, please submit a written request for cancellation specifying the reason for cancellation. The cancellation request is subject to the approval of Local Government Professionals Australia on the strict condition that none of the sponsorship arrangements have been fulfilled by either party.

• 25% of the partnership amount will be retained for cancellation requests between 12 to 6 months prior to the event

• 50% of the partnership amount will be retained for cancellation requests between 6 to 3 months prior to the event

• 100% of the partnership amount will be retained for cancellation requests received 3 months or less prior to the event
