The Crossroads Café Dining Hall offers students an ultimate dining experience at an affordable price. The all-you-
can-eat meal plan allows students to choose from eight different dining stations serving a variety of choices. There
are always the essentials including pizza and burgers. Specialty stations include Pasta Perfect, South of the Border
and the Classics Comfort food. For students wanting a lighter meal, our garden fresh salad bar has over two dozen
toppings, two kinds of soups and a made-to-order sandwich bar.
ENMU residency policy helps assure that your students get a good start to their college career. New students who
have less than 30 hours of college credit after high school graduation and are under 21 years old are required to live on
campus and purchase a meal plan. Exemptions to the residential/meal plan requirement may be granted to students
living with parents, married and/or having dependent children. Meal plan waivers may be granted to students with
medical needs not met by the meal plan provider.
Living on campus can contribute significantly to your students’ success in college. They will meet people who will
become lifelong friends. They will have the chance to learn new things about themselves, about living and working
with others, and about being part of a community and its traditions. Living on campus gives students the chance to
get involved beyond the walls of their classrooms, as a variety of programs are planned throughout the year. These
may be social, recreational, cultural or educational activities that give students a chance to meet people and learn
new things. They will find just the environment needed in our three residence halls and West Campus Apartments.
San Juan Village conveniently is located on campus property and independently managed.

ENMU is very proud of our student-athletes. The halls of Greyhound Arena are filled with the names of students
selected for All-American, All-Region and All-Conference teams, as well as the Academic All-Star Team
recognition. ENMU’s Greyhounds compete in the Lone Star Conference and in the Southwest Region National
Intercollegiate Rodeo Association.
ENMU has a long and proud history of success. Our athletics have achieved national championships in basketball,
rodeo and track. Numerous conference championships have been claimed in the nationally respected Lone Star
Conference. Several ENMU student-athletes have continued on to professional athletic careers. Best of all, student-
athletes at ENMU achieve a higher graduation rate than the student body as a whole. Academic and athletic
success characterize Eastern’s student-athletes.

With intramural sports, great skills are not necessary to enjoy an active lifestyle. To encourage participation, most of
our activities are offered in divisions based on skill and competitiveness, allowing students to choose an appropriate
level of play. Activities include flag football, volleyball, dodgeball, soccer, basketball, kickball, softball and many
other sports.

Student Activities
Your students will get the most out of college as they find balance in their co-curricular and extra-curricular experiences. At ENMU, students can explore more than 50 student organizations that range from academic and multicultural, to service, special interest and Greek. If they don’t find a group they like, they can start their own; our Associated Students Activities Board (ASAB) will walk them through the steps.
Joining an organization at ENMU helps students meet other students from diverse backgrounds, as well as those who share common interests. In college, students have more demands on their time which encourages them to procrastinate less and be more efficient with their time management skills. Their involvement also enhances their resume because it documents their leadership and service experiences on campus.
In addition to the organizations we have on campus, students can enjoy the various ENMU on-campus events including: dances, professional entertainers, concerts, movies, lectures, workshops, plays and athletic contests (including a strong intramural sports program).
ENMU’s ASAB is a student programming board that plans and implements recreational, educational, cultural, social and other entertaining events for the ENMU campus and surrounding communities. The events brought to campus are chosen and run by students, and paid for by student fees.
ASAB has many areas of involvement if students are interested in joining. Getting involved with ASAB is a great way for students to gain experience in a variety of different fields.
At ENMU, we are committed to the belief that a rich multicultural environment enhances University academic and social life; we believe all students, faculty and staff can contribute and enrich our institution. The Office of Multicultural Affairs has four student-run departments (African-American Affairs, Hispanic Affairs, International Affairs and Native American Affairs).
We have an open-door policy and are available to help students work toward finding their success at ENMU. We also encourage every student to join us for all Multicultural Affairs activities.

Counseling ServicesWe want students’ college experience to be memorable because they made friends, gained knowledge and were plugged in on campus. We don’t want them to look back on college as a time where they felt overwhelmed or isolated and didn’t know where to look for help. We provide easy access to licensed counselors who are equipped to help students deal with short-term issues like depression, anxiety, phobias, relationship problems, anger management, communication problems and fear of failure.
All of our services are free and confidential. We see students by appointment, and, for after hours, we have 24/7 crisis counseling. Get more information online at enmu.edu/Counseling.
Health ServicesLa Casa ENMU Student Health Services is here to help students maintain a positive, healthy lifestyle, which contributes to their academic success. We provide services including preventative and acute healthcare, immunizations, prescriptions and more. Go to enmu.edu/HealthServices to get more information.

With everything from peer tutoring in various subject to specific help in math or English, we’ve got students’ academic support needs covered.
