Всем привет!

Вчера мой племянник-старшеклассник упорно доказывал, что автобус – это транспорт будущего, потому что, например, чем проводить жизнь под землёй, в метро, гораздо приятнее наслаждаться сменяющимися видами из окна.

А я тут вспомнил про старый добрый троллейбус, который на протяжении 20 века был более экологичным видом транспорта, чем автобус. Кроме того, благодаря электродвигателю троллейбус лучше разгоняется в горку, а при спуске использует регенерацию энергии, то есть экономит топливо. Возвращаясь к экологичности троллейбуса и автобуса, конечно, сейчас разница не так очевидна в связи с более экологичным топливом для современных автобусов, и всё же одно дело – выхлопные газы прямо на улице, а другое – загрязнение от электростанции, находящейся в отдалении. Смущает только троллейбусная контактная сеть*, или «рога», дороговизна которой осложняет изменение маршрутов следования, а её неэстетичность портит общий вид города; уж не говоря о неизбежном снижении скорости.

И это не только проблема троллейбусов. С трамваями та же история. Правда, плюс трамваев в том, что они отлично справляются с проблемой городских пробок. Во-первых, их пути следования отделены от остального транспорта физическим барьером, а во-вторых, даже если этот барьер отсутствует, правила дорожного движения зачастую запрещают въезд остального транспорта на трамвайные пути. И тут племянник напомнил мне о выделенных автобусных полосах, которые набирают всё большую популярность в мегаполисах.

Так что, может, племянник прав?

Одиночество пожилых людей как социальная проблема

Социологи утверждают, что у людей старше семидесяти лет первое место занимают жалобы на одиночество. Причём большинство опрошенных живут с родственниками. Почему пожилые люди чувствуют себя одинокими?

Пожалуй, основная причина в том, что круг общения таких людей резко сужается. Четверть респондентов назвали постоянными «собеседниками» телевизор или домашнее животное. Пожилые люди плохо знакомы с современными технологиями, социальными сетями.

Другой немаловажный фактор – это невостребованность. Посвящая всю жизнь работе, пожилые не знают, куда себя деть после выхода на пенсию. Несмотpя на то, что их мудрость и жизненный опыт могли бы пригодиться молодым, старики чувствуют себя ненужными, оторванными от жизни и часто не ищут возможностей быть полезными.

Наконец, пожилых часто обвиняют в эгоцентризме и излишней обидчивости, хотя они просто психологически не готовы к изменениям, которые с ними происходят, и не знают, куда обратиться за помощью.

Причины возникновения могут быть и иными, но очевидно, что обществу пора принимать меры по решению этой серьёзной проблемы.
