Company ProfileFounded in 2001, Airconstruct HVAC continues its mission to design-construct-integrate-maintain your HVAC systems through the healthcare, hospitality, education and mining sectors. We operate across Australia and the South Pacific region.

The founder and Director, David Jones draws on over 32 years industry experience and has built the company on his core beliefs of excellence in service delivery and safety. He has surrounded himself with talented, long term staff with complimentary skills which has created a pocket of excellence that is recognized within the HVAC and facilities management communities.

Business functions are deployed from facilities in Brisbane and Mackay, which allows us to deliver projects seamlessly in any geographical location with reasonable notice.

Our Integrated Management System complies with both International and Australian Safety, Envi-ronmental and Quality Management systems standards and we rigorously pursue our commitment to best practice zero harm.

Airconstruct have developed our proprietary Airconnect system for capturing performance data and running costs of H.V.A.C assets as well as a full suite of test and measurement equipment for identifying any Energy losses and our Greywolf Indoor Air Quality Analysis instruments for Indoor Air Quality Audits.

We can also carry out failure mode analysis audits using proven reliability centred maintenance techniques to ensure H.V.A.C. equipment is keeping your opex within budget.

Understanding how to improve energy efficiency requires more than just an understanding of the HVAC equipment alone. It requires an in-depth understanding of the building envelope and how ambient and internal pressures of the building can impact on its services. We travel nationally and understand the varying requirements of the different climatic regions of our country. We can develop and implement energy reduction programs through either retrofitting and recommissioning of existing HVAC equipment for plant optimization and Identifying additional areas of energy waste through enclosure integrity and duct testing.

Indoor Air QualityAirhygiene is a specialized division within Airconstruct IEQ dedicated to creating healthy indoor environments through small and large scale split system sanitization, robotic induct cleaning and sealing and Indoor Air Quality Assessments and pollutant tracing.

Research has shown that we spend up to 90% of our time indoors yet we find many people often do not understand the health implications of not having their equipment sanitized and serviced regularly. Sometimes the effect upon one’s health can go unnoticed and other times it can be quite profound. Buildings are now built so airtight due to the costs of energy that we have constant indoor air quality issues due to a lack of fresh air. If units and duct distribution systems are not sanitized regularly they can support continuous growth of mould and/or mycotoxins within the system, especially in humid tropical environ-ments.

InnovationOur current research and development program running in conjunction with CSIRO aims to find the envelope of specific air conditioning performance parameters which through data acquisition and proprietary artificial intelligence that can accurately predict if a particular air conditioning unit requires cleaning staff or trained HVAC maintenance staff to attend through a layered response level. Corrosion ProtectionCoil corrosion is a common problem with HVAC systems and may begin to occur within a few weeks, months or years of installation. The rate at which corrosion occurs is often determined by the environmental factors in which the equipment finds itself. Our highly trained staff can enhance the longevity of your assets through the application of corrosion protection as we have access to the right products that have undergone documented salt spray testing making it a cost effective solution with easy to calculate returns.
