***Sunday's games may be moved depending on where WW Griz is seeded to keep them at WWCC***

Tournament Rules

1) All games will be 7 innings

2) 20 run rule after 3 innings, 15 run rule after 4 innings, 10 run rule after 5 innings (including 2:30pm games on Sunday)

3) Time limit - No new inning to start after 2 hours 30 minutes have elapsed from first pitch (except 2:30pm games on Sunday).

If game is tied at the end of time limit, the game will continue until a winner is decided (no ties).

4) There will be two divisions of 5 teams. It will be a round robin format within your division on Friday, Saturday & Sunday morning.

Sunday at 2:30pm will be for placing. The top 3 seeds from each division will play for placing at 2:30pm on Sunday (5 total games).

The #4 and #5 seeds will only get their 4 round robin games. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

5) Seeding for Sunday games at 2:30pm will be determined as follows:

A) Won/Loss Record within division (if all teams could not complete all three games due to rain etc, based on winning %).

B) Head to Head

C) Runs Allowed

D) Runs Scored

E) Coin Flip

6) Home team will already be established on schedule for all games on Friday, Saturday & Sunday morning. Coin flip will determine

the home team on Sunday at 2:30pm. Walla Walla will use the 3rd base dugout at WWCC for all games. Other than that, the home

team uses the 3rd base dugout unless both teams agree.

7) No Infield allowed. All facilities have batting cages and room to take flyballs/groundballs prior to the game.

8) Any player ejected from play must sit out the next tournament game his team plays (does not apply to coaches).

9) The DH may bat for any player in the lineup.

10) Courtesy runner for the catcher only (any time - optional). Please have a backup catcher ready to warm up pitcher.

11) All other American Legion Baseball rules will apply.

12) The Tournament Committee's decisions will be final.
