AdditionalBookings&ChangesAfter27October2017,shouldyourequireanyadditionalhotelroomstheOrganizerswillusetheir'bestefforts'toaccommodateyouradditionalteammembersinthesamehotelastheothermembersofyourteam.However,thiscannotbeguaranteed.
6. MethodofPaymentAminimum50%depositofthetotalamountduemustbetransferredtothebankaccountbelowby27OCTOBER2017.Allbankchargesmustbecoveredbytheparticipatingdelegation.Pleasealsoseethespecificwiretransferinformationinsection#7.Pleaseconsiderthetimeittakestoprocessthetransferinorderforthepaymenttoarrivebythedeadline.Wekindlyaskyoutosend10daysbeforeyourarrival,thebankdocument thataccredits the final funds transfer to [email protected] inorder tovalidatewithourbank.Teamsmustadviseby27OCTOBER2017theeventinvoicingmethodneededforParticipants.TherestoftotalamountduemustbepaidinUSDcashtotheLocalOrganizingCommitteeuponarrivalattheaccreditationcenter.Expedited Check-In: All participants that have paid in full for their hotel packages, entries and anyadditionaladd-on’sviabanktransferorothermethodandhavesentallrequireddocumentsandphotosinadvanceoftheirarrival,willhaveaspecialareaforexpeditedcheck-inservices.StandardCheck-In:Ifthereisabalanceoweduponarrival,fullpaymentisrequiredtobepaiduponarrivalinU.S.cashdollarstotheLocalOrganizingCommittee(LOC).All payments must be made in U.S. dollars currency. 10. Accreditation/CredentialingThosecountriesthathavecompletedallpaymentsandemailedcopiesofallpassportsandphotoswillhaveanexpeditedaccreditationlinetofurtherspeedthecheck-inprocess.TheaccreditationwilltakeplaceintheClarionAnaheimhotel,616ConventionWay,Anaheim,CA92802,USA.TheLocalOrganizingCommittee(LOC)willmakeaccreditation/credentialbadgesbeforethearrivalofeachteam.Inordertoavoidundesired longqueuesat thehotel. It is required thateachdelegationemailby27SEPTEMBER2017,thenamelistandelectronicphotos(passportsizeandstyle)ofyourentireattendingdelegation.
11. HotelInformationAll incidentalswillbe turnedoff inallguest rooms including in-roommovies, longdistance telephonecharges,roomservice,resortfees,andothersuchamenities.ParticipantsmustpayforincidentalswithcashattheFrontDeskattheirownexpense.*BottledwaterwillbeavailableintheTrainingHallandWarm-UpRoomonly.*Nocookingdeviceswillbepermittedinanyareasofthehotels.Anyuseofacookingdevicewillresultinguestbeinglockedoutoftheirhotelroom.*Smokingofanykindisnotpermittedortoleratedinanyareasinsidethehotel.Ifsmokingoccursinsidearoom,aminimumcleaningfeeof$250willbeassessedperroom,plusretailroomratechargesforallnightstheroomhastobeclosedforcleaning.
Nooutside foodandbeveragewillbepermitted in thehotelpublicareasor inside the trainingandcompetitionvenueduetohealthandsafetyreasons.HOTELCHECKIN/OUT:Check-intimeistypically4p.m.andcheck-outtimeisnormallybetween11amand12pm.(Duringpeakperiods,check-inmaybedelayed).Hotelswillstoreluggageforguestsarrivingbeforecheck-in time and/or departing after check-out time. 12. AnthemAtcheck-in,eachMemberFederationmustlistentotheircountry’snationalanthemandauthorizeitisaccurate.
13. TransportationTheLocalOrganizingCommittee (LOC)willprovidebusorvantransportationservicebetweentheLosAngelesInternationalAirport(LAX),andthereturnonceforeachregisteredparticipantthatprovidedtheirfullandaccurateflightscheduleby27OCTOBER2017.Tohelpwithscheduling,itisrespectfullyrequestedtobesentoverearlierifitisfinalizedpriortothisdate.
a. AccommodationandTransportationformsshallstatewhichairline,flightnumberandtimeseachdelegatewillbearrivinganddepartingon.
b. Notransportationwillbeprovidedbetweenthehosthotelsandthecompetitionvenue,orlocalareaattraction&restaurants.Notransportationwillbeprovidedfromotherareaairports.
c. Onsitetransportationchangesornewrequestsarenotguaranteedtobeaccommodated.TransportationbetweenthehosthotelsandtheClarionHotelduringlunchanddinnermealfunctionswillbemadeavailable.
14. CompetitionRegulationThe2017IWFWorldChampionshipswillfollowtheIWFTechnicalandCompetitionRulesandRegulations(TCRR).
15. TermsandConditionsofParticipationAccredited Participants – athletes, team officials, technical officials (TOs), media, guests, etc. must:
• AcknowledgeandfullycomplywithIWFConstitutionandBy-Laws,TCRR,Anti-DopingPolicy(ADP)• AbidebyallreasonabledirectionsgivenbytheIWF,theLocalOrganizingCommittee(LOC),TOs• Agreetobe filmed, televised,photographed, interviewedandotherwiserecordedduringtheEventforthepurposeofthemediacoverageandthepromotionofthesport• AgreethatanyoftheabovementionedimagesmaybeusedbyIWFand/orLOC• AssignwithfulltitleguaranteeinperpetuitytotheIWFallrightsofanynatureinanysuchrecordings• Accept any prize or award given by IWF and/or LOC/sponsors, and will attend all special awardceremonieswhereprizesorawardsarepresented• AttendaPressConferenceuponrequestoftheIWF/LOC• Notparticipatein,support,orpromoteillegalbetting• ParticipateintheEventattheirownriskandtakeallreasonablemeasurestoprotectfromanyrisk• Be responsible for all property they bring into the Event - the IWF and/or LOC shall have noresponsibilityinanylossordamageofthisproperty• Irrevocably release IWF&LOC from liability forany loss, injury,ordamage that theymaysuffer inrelationtotheirparticipationintheEvent• GuaranteethattheyparticipateintheEventwiththepermissionoftheirparent(s)orguardian(s)incasetheyareminors• Acknowledge that by not following the abovementioned terms and conditions, sanctionsmay beimposed• BeaMemberFederationoftheIWFingoodstanding• Agree that entry is subject to payment of all fees inclusive of entry, anti-doping, accommodation,foodandtransportationpaymentpriortouseofanyLOCorIWFfacility,orforairporttransfers.• Acknowledgethatnoaccommodationorarrangementisguaranteeduntilfullpaymentisreceived inadvance• Agree that theuseof syringes isbanned inall areasof the IWFWorldChampionships, inclusiveofaccommodationareas• AcknowledgethatMemberFederationsparticipatingintheWorldChampionshipsdosoatownrisk• Acknowledgethatnooutsidefoodandbeveragewillbepermittedinthehotelpublicareasor insidethetrainingandcompetitionvenueduetohealthandsafetyreasons• Undertake full moral and financial responsibility of their registered/accredited delegates with regardtotheirhealthandwellness,andinthecaseofaccidentsordamagesnotattributabletothe LOC.
16. EligibilityParticipatingathletesmustbe15yearsofageandover(yearofbirth2002orearlier).WithreferencetoArticle5.6.4oftheIWFAnti-DopingPolicy,theAthleteswhoarenotlistedintheIWF’sRegisteredTestingPoolandwhowanttoenteranIWFEventshallneverthelessregistertotheADAMSsystemandsubmitproperwhereaboutsinformationatleasttwomonthsbeforeandduringtheIWFEventinquestion.TheAthleteswhodonotcomplywiththisprovisionarenoteligibletocompete.OnlycompetitorsofMemberFederationsthathasnoarrearstowardstheIWFareeligibletoparticipate.

AwardsGold,silver,andbronzemedalswillbeawardedintheSnatch,theClean&Jerk,andtheTotal ineachbodyweightcategory.Trophieswillbeawarded to thebest six teamsrespectively forbothMen’sandWomen’s competitions in accordance with IWF Team Classification. The Organizing Committee shallawardBestLifterTitlesintheMen’sandWomen’sevents.
20. DopingControlDopingControlwillbeconductedinaccordancewiththeIWFAnti-DopingPolicy.
21. BarbellTheIWFapprovedELEIKObarbellswillbeusedinCompetition&Training.
22. InsuranceAll participating Federations must undertake full moral and financial responsibility of theirregistered/accrediteddelegateswithregardtotheirhealthandwellnessandincaseofanyaccidentsordamages not attributable to the Local Organizing Committee (LOC). Any medical team doctorsparticipatingassuchmustacquireaCalifornialicense.
