1. Program Statement
Кhazar University is the first private University in the South Caucasus that started implementing intemationaleducation programs with English language as а medium of instruction. Pursuant to its policy and servicecommitments, the University is proud to announce the Кhazar University International Scholarship Program for2016-2017 (further referred to as KUISP) extended to nationals of аН countries without апу 1im itаtiоп.
11. Genera\ Principles
ТЬе guiding principles ofthe program аге as foHows:АН foreign citizens аге eligible for KUISP.Applicants to bachelor, master and PhD programs аге eligible to apply for KUISP.Every уеаг two scholarships, еасЬ covering the cost ofthe fuH tuition fee, will Ье awarded to citizens ofеасЬ country who apply to Кhazar University programs.The scholarship is provided for опе уеаг subject to prolongation based оп the academic performance ofthe grantee.ТЬе scholarship covers the cost ofthe tuition fee for one academic уеаг, but does not cover living, travelог other expenses.Кhazar University conducts evaluation and the selection of submitted applications via document screeningand Skype interviews with shortlisted applicants. ТЬе details and the time frame of the selection агеspecified in the KUISP time schedule (Section IV below).
IП. Eligibility Criteria
ТЬе successful applicants should тее! the foHowing criteria:Good academic performance records ofthe previous education stageGood English language skills. Standardized English language test scores аге not compulsory. Howevel',the applicants with standardized scores (valid TOEFL/IELTS scores: expired scores аге not accepted) willЬауе competitive advantage. Holders ofInternational Bachelor degree certificates or diplomas fгom а highschool with English as а major medium of instruction do not need а language skill justification document.Motivated to study at Кhazar UniversityGood communication skills and sociability
