This is an exciting time! Deciding on where to go to college may seem overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be. Here are some recommendations that will help with your decision.

1. DON’T FRET ABOUT YOUR MAJOR. You may already know where you want to go in life. But if you don't, college is an opportunity to discover your purpose, explore your options, and find what truly interests you. This is your time to find your passion, and you can do that by studying a variety of classes and participating in clubs. And remember, you can always change your mind.

2. EDUCATION IS MORE THAN A BOOK OR A PIECE OF PAPER. It is true that knowledge is power, but only if you use it. Take advantage of opportunities to get out of the classroom and put your knowledge into practice.

3. IT IS WHO YOU KNOW. One of the greatest assets to your education is the people you will work with. Glean all the knowledge you can from your peers, professors and mentors.

The path to success is open. Enjoy the journey for what it is, absorbing everything along the way; it is those experiences that make you unique and incredibly valuable.

Good luck this year, we’ll see you on campus.
