As our population rapidly ages, Alzheimer’s disease threatens to affect more lives than ever before. Investing in the cause today will help those impacted by Alzheimer’s disease, both now and in the future. There are many simple—and fun—ways for companies to engage, educate and motivate their employees to join the cause, including:

alzheimer’s workplace alliance (awa) The Alzheimer’s Association created this free resource for companies that will provide free educational and awareness programs to company employees, as well as create a support system for employees affected by this disease. AWA helps companies provide their employees with valuable, health-related information and education about the warning signs of Alzheimer’s, the importance of early detection and the programs and services available through the Alzheimer’s Association.

education programsThe Alzheimer’s Association can provide your employees with important information on Alzheimer’s disease and overall brain health. Our Lunch and Learn workshops are interesting and interactive, providing important health information on a variety of topics, as well as resources the Alzheimer’s Association can provide if they or a loved one are diagnosed with the disease.

walk to end alzheimer’s® team Rally behind our cause and organize a team to participate in our signature event. Create a team with colleagues, family and friends in the nation’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Form a team and register at alz.org/walk.
