Greetings!I attended my first convention in 1992 in Vancouver Canada. WOW! Whata place to get introduced to convention! I was lucky to travel with threemembers of the Nashville Association who mentored me throughout theentire weekend. It was a great learning experience - not only the educationbut how the association was there to assist me with my careeradvancement. So much information, education, and networking in oneplace. And, over the past 23 years I have attended every Convention. Theopportunity to show other members that attending these events gives youthe opportunity to increase your reach into the insurance industry. Every time you attend one of these events, especially the InternationalConvention, you are exposed to members and colleagues from alldisciplines of the industry. This enables you to watch and learn and growas a professional. It was through this association and these meetings Iwas able to grow and achieve my goal of becoming a manager in mycompany.
