Community Engagement Program• 120 PGA Professionals activated into community programs through the week.
• School visits to take place throughout the week offering entertainment, tuition as well as gifts and prizes.
• Free Junior Pro-Am providing juniors from around the district with an opportunity to play 9 holes with some of their heroes as well as a chance to win an array of prizes.
• Charity and Hospital visits scheduled throughout the week enabling those who can’t get to the tournament an opportunity to experience the benefits.
• Appearances by PGA Professionals at the businesses of sponsors promoting their products and services and the tournament.
• Shopping Centre Appearances with an opportunity to opportunity to receive free tuition at selected venues venues throughout the region.
• Golf and Non Golf activities in outer lying communities for communities for those who don’t have access access to toto national and international sports people.

combining an important mix of internationally and regionally significant events.
• The QLD PGA Championship joins a diverse tournament schedule including the Emirates Australian Open, NZ Open Championship, Victorian Open and the Australian PGA Championship.
