Welcome Cub Scout Leaders, Boy Scout Leaders, Venturing Leaders and Commissioners of
Westark Area Council. Our ninth Baden Powell University is one of the most exciting new
training programs that our council has to offer! It is complete with a degree program and
patch recognition. There is something for everyone from the first time leader to the seasoned
veteran. This will include some new scouting programs and requirements that have been
implemented this year. These changes will be covered in Baden Powell University.
We hope that you will find a new twist to the training that you can take home and use with
your unit!
New this year! If you are not trained in your position, we will have that training to offer.
To be able to participate in any other courses, you must be trained in your respective
position!
The sessions are 45 minutes long and provide you with the latest and newest information that
can be found.
Your trainers have had trainer development and/or EDGE courses and most are Wood Badge
trained so you know that they are the most qualified!
Most have been preparing extensively for this training and devoting hours of their time to
developing, planning, and implementing this program for you. So, come out enjoy the
training and learn as much as you can to take back to the youth in your unit to deliver the
most important promise. Register early by November 6, 2015 and save $10.00.
