8 - 2015 Activity Report City of Greater Sudbury
Animals from The City of Greater Sudbury continue to make up the majority of animals received at the Shelter. While the City only reserves 62.5% of our capacity (50 of 80 shelter spaces) for housing animals from The City of Greater Sudbury, over 90% of the animals coming to the Shelter originate in The City of Greater Sudbury.
Impound and boarding fees collected from individuals redeeming animals from the Shelter pursuant to the Animal Control Bylaw continue to account for only a small portion of our total revenues.
