TEAM QUOTAS & RULES

Refer to IFSC Rules, pay attention to the following points:

• LICENSES: For ALL IFSC Events: Only competitors who are or will be at least 16 years of age in the year of the competition and who hold a valid International Licence shall be eligible to compete in an IFSC competition.

• TEAM OFFICIALS: Member federations may register up to a maximum of five (5) team officials who shall be granted free entry into the competition venue. These officials shall be registered via the IFSC website, must be in possession of a valid international licence and specifically nominated for one of the following roles:

o One (1) team manager; o Two (2) team coaches; o Two (2) qualified medical or para-medical personnel.

• DEADLINE: The deadline for team registration […] shall be two (2) months before the first day of the

competition. Following this deadline, but subject always […], member federations may, in exceptional circumstances, withdraw team members and substitute new team members to replace those withdrawn, but may not add to the number of team members registered

• START LIST: Registered competitors not confirmed as present […] will be deleted from the Official

Starting List.

• TEAM REGISTRATION FOR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS AND WORLD YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIPS:

According to IFSC rules Part 3 Event Rules / World Cup Series/ 12.4 & 13.4 § Subject to Article 12.2.1, member federations may register on the official IFSC registration form a

National Team comprising (where applicable): o Any current Adult/Youth World/Continental Champion (who shall be registered for the

Discipline in which they are champion); and o In addition to (a), a further 5 (4 for World Youth Championships) competitors for each

Category and Discipline of the competition.

§ The presence of all persons registered pursuant to Articles 12.4.1 and 12.4.2 must be confirmed: o By the attendance of at least one team official or competitor at the competition venue

at the hour specified on the information sheet provided by the Organiser; or o By SMS to the IFSC Technical Delegate and/or the Jury President, not later than the

time specified on the information sheet provided by the Organiser, only where exceptional circumstances such as strikes, traffic delay, etc. prevent attendance in person. For more safety, please double-send the information to [email protected] and to the IFSC Technical Delegate.

Note: Depending on the schedule of the competition, supplementary Registration Meetings may be held for events commencing after the first day of the competition.

• Whereabouts: As stated in the Athletes license: “II. Obligations of IFSC Member Association A Member Association whose competitors apply for an International Licence undertakes:[...] to provide all whereabouts information concerning its athletes requested by IFSC” National Federations are requested to send to the IFSC a copy of the competitor list with the following information:

- Phone number and email of Team Manager - Place of stay of each and every Athletes (address and phone number of the hotel)
