If you have an accident, insist on Genuine Infiniti CollisionParts. If you want your vehicle to be restored using partsmade to Infiniti’s original exacting specifications – if youwant it to last, help to protect your personal safety and tohelp hold its resale value, the solution is simple. Tell yourinsurance agent and your repair shop to use only GenuineInfiniti Collision Parts.

Many non-genuine parts are copies made from impres-sions of Infiniti parts and may not match the specifica-tions and performance standards of Genuine InfinitiParts. As a result, non-genuine parts may not look or fitright, and may be less safe.

The hood on your vehicle is a good example. Infiniti de-signed it with hood buckling creases to help prevent thehood from penetrating the interior of your vehicle in anaccident. Non-genuine parts may not provide such built-insafeguards.

In some states, the law says you must be advised if non-genuine parts are used to repair your vehicle. Why shouldyou take a chance?

Replacement Panel Limited Lifetime CorrosionWarranty*See your participating Infiniti retailer for details.

If you have your collision damage repaired using GenuineInfiniti Outer Sheet Metal Panels you don’t have to worryabout corrosion. That’s because these panels are war-ranted against inside out rust-through perforation for aslong as you own your Infiniti. Another reason to insist onGenuine Infiniti Collision Repair Parts.

* This warranty does not apply to vehicles or parts, not distributed by Nissan North America and/or sold outside the United States.

As a condition of your vehicle’s warranty, you are responsible for properly maintaining your vehicle. In maintaining yourvehicle, you should follow either Schedule 1 or Schedule 2 as listed below. Use these guidelines to determine whichmaintenance schedule to use.

SCHEDULE 1 (more severe operatingconditions), every 3,750 miles or 3 months, whichever comes firstUse Schedule 1 if you primarily oper-ate your vehicle under any of theseconditions:● Repeated short trips of less than 5miles in normal temperatures or lessthan 10 miles in freezing temperatures● Stop-and-go traffic in hot weather orlow speed driving for long distances● Driving in dusty conditions or onrough, muddy, or salt-spread roads● Towing a trailer, or using a camper orcar-top carrier

SCHEDULE 2 (less severe operatingconditions), every 7,500 miles or 6 months, whichever comes firstSchedule 2 features 7,500-mile ser-vice intervals; with Schedule 2 fewermaintenance items are regularlychecked or replaced than with Sched-ule 1.Generally, Schedule 2 applies only tohighway driving in temperateconditions. Use Schedule 2 only if youprimarily operate your vehicle underconditions other than those listed inSchedule 1.

PREMIUM MAINTENANCE*

Premium Maintenance is a Infiniti-recommended optional upgrade thatadds services to Schedule 1 and 2when maintenance is performed.Performing the Premium upgrade ser-vices may optimize the performance, durability, reliability, and resale valueof your vehicle. (Premium Mainte-nance items are available at every 30,000 miles or 24 month interval.)

* Premium Maintenance is an Infiniti-recommended option; however, you need not perform such maintenance in order to maintain the warranties which come with yourInfiniti. Premium Maintenance may not be available outside the United States, please inquire of your retailer.

❑ For the ultimate in preventative maintenance, ask your Service Consultant for a complimentary Multi-Point Inspection every time you visit your participating Infinitiretailer. See page 12 and 13 for more information on Multi-Point Inspections.

8

In addition to scheduled mainte-nance, your Infiniti requires thatsome items be checked during nor-mal day-to-day operation. You canfind these items listed under “Gen-eral Maintenance” in Chapter 8 ofyour Owner’s manual.
